Public Works Institute Tuition & Exam Fee Grant Program
This grant will cover tuition for one employee from a Small Cities/Rural Communities qualified agency to attend all four modules of our Chapter’s Public Works Institute. It also covers one test fee for the Certified Public Works Professional-Supervision or Management Exam. This grant does not cover time away from work, travel, or other expenses. Small Cities/Rural Communities is defined as cities or counties with a population of 50,000 or less.
Public Works Institutes are chapter-based certificate programs focused on supervision and management practice areas within all areas of public works. The content is designed to address the supervisory and management needs of current first-line supervisors and up, and those individuals aspiring to be better leaders and supervisors.
