The APWA Awards Program recognizes outstanding individuals (emerging leaders and experienced staff/managers) for their dedication to the field of public works

The Top Ten Public Works Leaders of the Year award seeks to inspire excellence and dedication in public service by recognizing the outstanding career service achievements of individual public works professionals and officials, from both the public and private sectors. The primary focus of the award is on career service to the public works profession rather than on any one single event or project.

The Emerging Leader award to recognize and encourage young APWA members who have demonstrated an initial commitment to the profession and the association and show potential for future growth within the association.

The Professional Staff/Manager of the Year award recognizes outstanding achievements of individuals who inspire excellence, leadership, and dedication to the public good, in the areas of Administrative Management, Engineering and Technology, Facilities and Grounds, Public Fleet, Public Right-of-Way, Public Works Emergency Management, Solid Waste, Transportation, and Water Resources.

The Chrysalis award is our own Chapter award, recognizing leadership abilities and potential for individuals with less than 10 years of experience. They have given back to the communities and gone the extra mile within their organization.
