New Flood Stages for Flood Emergency Awareness
Topic: Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is finalizing a project to establish flood stages for 12 stream gauges in West and Central Contra Costa County. These flood stages are being added to graphs linked to stream gauge points in our online RainMap platform. The presentation will provide an overview of the project and demonstrate how agencies and the public can monitor creek levels relative to flood stages. This tool will help raise awareness of flooding potential and supports informed decision-making during storm events.
